Brain & Mind is not registered with any insurance companies. Depending on the company and your policy, your insurer may still cover your initial assessment, however, you would need to check this with them directly. Invoices will be sent directly to you for payment, unless they provide you with an electronic address for us to send the invoice to.
No, a referral letter will be required in order to secure an appointment date/time in the consultant(s) calendar. We do not accept self-referrals
We are unable to provide an emergency or out of hours service. In the event of a crisis or medical emergency you should contact your/the patient’s GP, case manager or care coordinator in hours and your local emergency service or A&E out of hours. If you or the patient is having a mental health crisis you can also contact your local crisis line.
Yes, in most cases, appointments can take place remotely if it is your preference. This would happen over Zoom or Teams. Please note however that if you are suitable for one of our treatment programmes, a short physical examination may be required before proceeding with treatment.
We have a 48h cancellation policy however, we kindly ask patients to give us as much notice possible so that we can offer the cancelled appointment to someone else.
